After hours of trying succeeded to connect Manhattan to Cas 2 using the connector and a resistor and Cas sw Ver 6.9.
After connecting I recieive-

Xilinx XC9536XL CPLD Version 3 detected
Functionality not warranted
Flash unknown: Manufacturer ID: 0xFF Device ID: 0xFF

I am able to erase and write but not able to write XILINX .
It says error in erasing.... Helpless... What to do ?? Huh

If CAS doesn't recognize your flash chip (evident from the output you posted) then it will not work. Read the CAS3 documenation is it contains detailed info on how to connect to an emebedded UCAS receiver...

Problem's solved. It was a bad soldering to one connection. Now it is ok.
